Fred Conlon is a comic genius. Seriously…check out these new pieces by our hug-a-bug friend and creative force, Fred Conlon.
He works with scrap metal to up-cycle junk into his playful sculptures.
I look at these pieces and just break into a smile…with a touch of a little giggle.
His attention to detail makes each piece one-of-a-kind. I want them all over my courtyards at home. I am a “why own one when you can own them all?” kind of girl…but where to start? Collecting is about a beginning with one.
Which one would you buy first?
I love them all too! They are so fun and happy ! I guess if I had to choose one it would be the bottom one. Makes me want Spring to hurry up here in Tulsa and get going in my gardens….
I think spring is here finally. It is just taking it’s time developing into warmth…which is a blessing. I think the winter just made us all crave warmer days. I am itching to play in my gardens too.
Can’t quite understand the size of these by the picture? I immediately thought it was a pin I could wear, which really thrilled me. But if you would place them in your courtyard, it would most likely be more of a backpack size to wear 🙂 Uncomfortable for my office chair, oh well!
They are about 8 inches tall. So too big to wear 🙁 But, too small to only own one 🙂
Definitely the one with umbrella. Too cute.
Isn’t fun! I break out into “singing in the rain…” every time I see it. Happy!
